I have known Jon Sheppard, owner of Sights And Sounds company for over 20 years. He has installed Control 4 systems in two of my homes. The installations provide phenomenal integration to control door locks, music, cable TV, cameras, games etc. I can conveniently control devices using my iPhone. He installed 15 in-ceiling speakers in one home and 8 in my vacation home. He installed a generator at my home to provide complete service in the event Talquin power is turned off. Even though I reside in a neighborhood with underground utilities I have needed it several times. He installed an alarm system in my home. The equipment and service was amazing. Nikki, Office Manager and first line to obtain service is absolutely amazing! She is polite, resourceful, and professional.

I had an ongoing sound volume issue with my IPTV/surround sound system. I had checked the internet and contacted my IPTV service provider and equipment manufacturer for help and recommendations, and basically got no where closer to a solution. I even changed IPTV service providers thinking that may help. I finally reached out to Sights & Sounds, and Jon Shepard came to see if he could help. He was here for all of 5 min and found what should have been an obvious troubleshooting issue and fixed it!!! It left me feeling foolish and highly disappointed in my service provider and equipment provider’s help teams. I have been using Sights & Sounds since we moved to Tallahassee in 2016 and they have never let me down! Their service is professional yet friendly! I strongly recommend them to any homeowner looking for help acquiring or just setting up a home sterio system. GREAT TEAM!!

Hired Sights and Sounds on the recommendation of a local business owner. The Sights and Sounds team did not disappoint. We have integrated their automation consulting in two separate buildings, one commercial and one residential. The residential project was a new build with full smart home automation. Sights and Sounds was involved from the system planning and design phase, procurement, and turn-key installation. The commercial project was a conference room retrofit / update. Jay and his team were fantastic from start to finish. They helped me set up a full home theatre system along with Control4 automation for my lights and shades—and made the whole process surprisingly painless, even for a tech troglodyte like me. We called Big Bend Design to have some wiring done for our point of sale, telephone, and sound system at Big Papa’s Chophouse. Big Papa’s Chophouse is in the Historic District of Quincy Fl and there’s special care that needs to be taken when working with a historic building. Jay did a great job and conducted himself in a professional manner. We highly recommend Big Bend Design!
