Exceptional Sound, Transformational Experience We recently had a new sound system installed at the Nevada City United Methodist Church by Sound Planning (David Armstrong), and the transformation has been nothing short of remarkable. Compared to our old, outdated setup, the clarity and quality of sound are truly night and day. For the first time in years, every spoken word during services is crisp and intelligible, and the beauty of the choir’s harmonies can now be fully appreciated—each lyric and note rings through with clarity and warmth. This upgrade doesn’t just enhance our Sunday worship; it’s also a tremendous asset for our live-streamed services, helping us stay connected with our broader community. Even more exciting is the impact it will have on our children’s theater program, which is currently gearing up for a new production. This company has not only relieved us from years of horrible sound and given us a beautiful and complete sound system but they have saved us a tremendous amount of money while delivering the highest quality in products. David Armstrong, founder & owner of Sound Planning, responded quckly to my request for a site visit to help me design a comprehensive, programmable audio/visual system in my HOA's community center. Upon meeting him the first time, I felt confident he understood exactly what I was looking for as he addressed my wish list and concerns. He showed exemplary patience with me (I showered him with questions throughout the months) and the HOA Board of Directors (the bidding process moved at a snail's pace); he openly shared his thoughts and wisdom during his Board interview, taking as much time as the Board needed (he called in while on vacation!) and modified his quote a number of times to meet budget constraints. The Board & I are grateful to have met & hired him to design/install a system which WORKS for the benefit of our community. Oh, one last thing. Even though we submitted a work order for him to only move the camera mount, he also performed a quick system check and found a faulty mixer channel and promised to submit a replacement ticket with the manufacturer under warranty! David truly believes in customer service, long term relationships, fair prices and stands behind the products he incorporates in his system design. The HOA Board, management company and I think highly of David, relieved to know we can count on him to handle all of our future audio/visual needs. Thank you so much, David!
