Car Audio Installation in Albuquerque, NM

I brought in my 2020 Honda Passport to the Lomas location to have an 8 AWG power wire installed for my dual-band ham radio (under rear seat). The job was done within few hours, for a very affordable price, and with professional results. The employee was friendly and accommodating to my questions and requests. The fuse holder was mounted in a location I could easily access, not left hanging by the side of the battery like some installers do. My only complaint is that the route they used for the wire added length to the wire, which causes minor voltage loss. I understand why they did this, to avoid drilling through the firewall, but I would like to have been consulted first as I ended up moving the radio to the other side of the vehicle to minimize the power wire length. Would I recommend them for future installs? Oh, yes. Definitely.

My mechanic referred me to Star Audio, on Lomas, to have an alarm system installed in my vehicle. The sales person was knowledgeable in explaining the choices. I returned for the scheduled install 2 days later. Everything went smoothly and faster than predicted. My user questions were answered. Then I asked out of curiosity about an upgrade for my sound system. I will be returning to get that done.

This place is amazing. We walked in and immediately were taken care of. The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful. Answered any questions we had and gave great input. I had my dash cam installed about 3 weeks ago. The installation is working perfect. I’m a very shy person, and luckily both workers are very patient and friendly. This place also works really fast, so it fit well in my schedule. My price for the installation was around $200 but my dash cam was missing some components and they worked with me on solving that small issue. Otherwise, I recommend this place!

Had this system installed over 2 years ago now. Has run great and have had no issues with any of the equipment either. Had my vehicle for a little over 3 hours during the initial installation. Clear communication and got me exactly what I was wanting out of a sub woofer.

Awesome job and very professional. Ive had 2 car alarms, and 3 audio systems installed here on 3 cars. I even took one back to them after the dealer unhooked my subs doing work. They were super nice and took care of it quickly. Definitely recommend these guys.
