During the initial consultation, Gary and his team were incredibly informative in helping me plan everything out. Everything that they installed looks absolutely beautiful and everything works harmoniously together. Everything I need can be accessed right from my phone with a program called Control4. I thought it would be overwhelming but they were so patient in showing me how everything works and made sure that I was comfortable with the system before they left. From the stereo, to the climate control, to even unlocking the front door. I can control what is playing on the TV and open and close the shades. All of it is done right at my fingertips with Control4 and it's so easy to use! It is truly amazing how smart Gary's Audio can make your home. I would absolutely spend this money all over again and I would highly recommend Gary and his team any day of the week!

Gary and Jeremiah were excellent in returning my phone call on my initial inquiry of redoing my surround sound system. Thereafter the first meeting, they came up with a fair proposal of modernizing my house with new audio and video technology. They both have exceeded my expectations in every way. Their quality of work is outstanding, the customer service was exceptional, and the overall experience was fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and top-notch product. 5 stars!

Gary is a very nice man and he advised me that they charge $185 to survey my Control4 system. He told me that the $185 charge would be credited to any work they perform. Gary Audio spent about 1 hour looking at my system and advised me that my controller was bad. He prepared a detailed estimate for the repairs to get my system working once again. Gary sent me an estimate to restore my system for $2,034.27. I gave them a $1,000 deposit and in a few days they came and installed the new equipment. He advised me that my HDMI extender was bad. The additional cost for the new HDMI extender and a repeat service call would add another $1,099.96 to my bill. I agreed to the additional costs and was once again assured this would get my system up and running. After installing the new HDMI extender Gary's Audio advised me that now my receiver and amplifier were both bad. Really? Why did you not know this from the beginning when you surveyed my equipment? I then asked him why we were using an HDMI extender when I have a 70-foot HDMI cable that goes from my equipment room to my TV. He never even saw the HDMI cable behind my TV in his "survey" of my equipment. Now Gary sends me an estimate for an additional $5,666.42 to restore my system, including a new HDMI cable. My total cost is now $8,859.47. If I had been told that at the start of this service, I would not have begun this project. I saw this as an attempt to extort money from me at this point. I called Gary for an explanation but did not receive any satisfaction. All I wanted was my Control4 system restored as promised. He kept saying that he was not responsible for my existing equipment, which I agree with. My point was then his "survey" should have included my existing components or at least a caution that the estimate to restore the system at the previous cost estimates was not guaranteed. At this point, I see it as $3,193.05 wasted. Gary's Audio did agree to perform some additional work that would partly restore my system for an additional $1,700. I agreed to pay him a 50% deposit 3 days before installation. Gary's Audio wants the deposit before they would schedule the work. BEWARE!! They just want your money and will keep finding things wrong that cost more. I was foolish to pay over $3,000 in full without an operating Control4 system. This company, Gary's Audio, is a classic scheme where you get the customer invested with several smaller estimates, then hit them with the big bill once they've invested money into the system already.
