Rick Smith and the Hanson Audio Video Team were wonderful to work with. Very knowledgeable and willing to listen to your ideas, as well. We agreed to move forward with the Project. Communications were prompt and spot on. The Team arrived when promised, conducted the install very professionally, and provided an overview of the new equipment, sharing how to control everything to achieve your preferred watching and listening pleasure. Then the next day, an onsite follow up visit was conducted to review any further questions we might have, or to review and provide solutions to any issues that arose during our use. No issues, and we had no further questions, only praise for the improvement in our Theater Experience -

Hanson Audio is the most professional stereo shop I’ve ever been to. The employees are knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I’ve been to stereo shops all over the country and can honestly say we are lucky to have Hanson in Dayton. Their selection is unbeatable. They installed a basic whole house system in my living areas and did a two channel stereo in my basement. I was impressed they had nearly every price point to fit my needs. I would highly recommend you visit Hanson for your home stereo. I’m a customer for life!

My partner chose Hanson because she wanted, quite admirably, to do business with a local company. Our desire was to have our TV, stereo and cd collection integrated into one system. The hardware Hanson sold us is quite good; the integration and ease of use is awful. Three remotes which we must move between, depending on our needs. And instructions to "not touch any of the settings". All needlessly complex and user unfriendly. To add insult, the cd collection is controlled by BlueOS, an app that is neither simple or reliable. So, actually it takes three remotes and a phone to operate our system. Lovely.

What to Compare Before Choosing a Company

Choose a platform that can be supported locally and expanded over time. Ask who owns the programming credentials, what happens if the dealer closes, which features work without cloud access, and how software updates, service calls, and future additions are priced.

Before hiring, confirm whether the quote includes mounting hardware, cable concealment, equipment setup, programming, calibration, cleanup, and post-installation support where relevant to your project.
