We have had several appointments with Domes over the past two years. We bought a house with a non-working surround sound system throughout the house. They came and straightened everything out for us, installed some new tv's, worked with some of our own older audio products, and taught us how to use everything. Recently, we had guests who reversed some things in the system by accident and we had them come back out. They quickly found the problem, double checked all our systems, both audio and multiple televisions. Billie, the tech on the latest call, was extremely patient, walked us through updates, changes we may want to make, and got us back on track. He answered every question I had, no matter how mundane. We will never call anyone else to work on our system. They are reasonable, knowledgeable, patient, and honest. We highly recommend them!

Downsized to a new townhouse in Norfolk VA. When discussing audio video needs with friends, the company name DOMES AUDIO VIDEO ENVIRONMENTS kept coming up. Visited the Domes Showroom, discussed our needs with Sales Team and scheduled a visit to assess and get a quote. We purchased one television, had two TVs mounted, installed surround sound and more. Pure Custom Home Theater is a small store with a well-curated selection of audio and visual components and a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They offer brands and products that are high quality and high value and they never try for a "hard sell". I bought my new audio system from Pure Custom and am extremely happy. I replaced the components in my existing system, one by one, and at each point Nick and his staff took a lot of time to let me try out different options in the store and even at home. They took care to consider my budget and my music preferences when making recommendations. At no point did they try to oversell or push something of dubious value on me. In fact, they always had me start auditioning at the lower end and then let work up to the point where I felt I was getting the best performance that I felt I could afford.

Super friendly, super legit. Came in, mounted tv, setup it up and explained everything in great detail. I am not tech savy and they took care of me and got me right. His equipment recommendations are superb, and his ideas for optimal installation have often been ingenious. He gets the job done right, and when I've needed trouble-shooting done, he's always been impressively responsive. Top notch all the way.

Jim started our home automation job in October 2021 and the project dragged on and on. He still has not completely finished the job. He gave us an original estimate for his hours to complete the job. I added a few things to our project and he gave us a revised estimate for his hours. I understood that the hours could be less or more but when it came time for the final invoice he billed us for double the amount of hours he estimated. If you use his services I would highly recommend you keep track of his hours. He wanted his final invoice paid before full completion of the job. He got offended and rude when we disputed his hours.
