We used HD Connections to wire our new home. We did Control 4 Audio, Video, Wireless Blinds, Security Cameras and Burglar Alarm. The pricing was slightly under the 2 other bids we received. Ben, the Owner could not have been more helpful in figuring out the best way to go since there a million options. He made the process easy and made sure we got what we wanted. His installation crew, led by Dan, was phenominal. Nicest guy ever! Everything turned out amazing and I can listen to music in any room I want, even in the shower. Since we moved in we had a couple technical issues come up which is par for these complex systems and Amanda (office manager) had a tech to fix it in a reasonable amount of time. I really have no negative things to say- we were very satisfied and are now completely spoiled. I don't often leave reviews, but that is my 2 cents. This company is worth a good review.

These guys are pretty sloppy, and really expensive. 1st picture shows the outlet box they installed crooked and at the wrong height. How hard is it to put up a single gang box? 2nd picture shows that they couldn't even bundle their cables together....one cable outside the gas line (really?). The 3rd picture shows their cables already falling down from the wall in the utility room. We have been in the house for a month, who knows what else will fall down. To top it off I asked them cut (6) Cat6 cables that were too long and attach new ends. I didn't ask for a price, since they were already on the job site doing their final install. It took the installer about 15 minutes and (6) cable ends ($10 on amazon). The charge for the "change order" .... $141.00. OUTCH. No description of what was done or hourly charges - just a bill for $141. I wrote the owner a note with the $141 check, explaining I thought it was out of line. No response, he's obviously too busy fleecing other customers. This was for a new construction. I'd look elsewhere if you are after quality installation at a reasonable price.

We looked at a lot of different companies to help update our security system, theater room and and few other odds and ends. HD connections gave us a comprehensive plan with different options in terms of timing and order of importance based on our needs and wants. I am SO glad we opted to go with them. Ben, Dan and Amanda are FANTASTIC and we could not be happier with the work preformed. We are already talking about the next level of updates and will absolutely be using their services again.
