To say I was blown away by the experience I had working with Victor and High Note Audio would be an understatement. The setup in my house was very complex, with rear surround speaker wiring that had been set in place over two decades ago. Traversing that challenge to deliver a perfectly tuned soundscape was something only a real expert could figure out. Victor meticulously examined the existing setup and recommended a solution that was PERFECT for my application. The resulting sound was - frankly - stunning. In addition to figuring out the complex rears, High Note custom designed an entire system around the space I had to work with, choosing the correct towers and a center that functioned extraordinarily well given some exceedingly tight spaces I had to work with. The attention to detail here is second to none. Victor made sure each speaker was calibrated correctly to match the dimensions of my room. He took time to ensure the remote was custom programmed for my setup and explained all of the functions so I could properly enjoy my new system. The cabling is next-level. I have a lot of gear. It’d be easy to let the cables turn into a rats nest. Victor made it look like a work of art. Seriously. The only thing that can move me to tears faster than listening to the exceptional quality audio from my system is looking at the artistry of those cables. ONLY a top end professional pays attention to this and High Note is at the top of the top. I am so happy with my new system. I am absolutely thrilled with my new system. I have spent my entire career conducting ensembles and recently retired as the Director of Bands at Pacific Lutheran University. I am accustomed to performing and attending live music all over the world and I have never had a system that could even come close to the experience of a live concert. In fact, I really didn’t think it was possible. Until now. Victor Prinsen, owner of High Note Audio and I have known each other for close to 20 years. He has invited me to see his shop many times over the years and I came by for the first time about 4 years ago. I was completely floored by the quality of the gear and his knowledge of the operations. It is very difficult to put into words just how great the difference is as it compares to average commercial equipment. I sat and as the sound washed over me I heard the individual wires of brushes on the drumset, I heard the aspiration of air hiss through Diana Krall's vocal cords, and finger calluses scrape against guitar strings. I knew that someday I had to have something that could deliver these micro details. A few years later, I asked Victor what he thought and told him what I was interested in. He came out to the house, took measurements and went to work. Working with him was easy, he did it all. Victor is also a highly trained musician and PLU Alum so he took this expertise and put together a beautiful efficient system for my home. He came out and installed everything and I can not be happier. It seamlessly integrates with my television and other components. As a person who has spent his entire adult life experiencing music at the highest levels, I can attest to Victor’s expertise and can not recommend High Note Audio any higher.
