Corey Bane at Bulldog Audio Visual has been our go to trusted resource since 2014 (when we moved to the San Diego area) for the complete automation of our home: including the installation of audio (fishing speakers in every main room of an existing home with minimal damage and arranging for any drywall and paint touchup); video in 4 locations; Auton Motorized under bed TV lifts; integration of the apps to control the system throughout the home, the detached guest house and the enclosed swimming pool room; the central equipment rack; a home business office quality wireless router and switch (monitored by an app); coordination with a quality home security contractor; and quality thoughtful advice on everything related to this and sensible updates during the last 10 years. He was referred to us by our AV contractor in Houston through a local customer who also happens to be a manufacturer of top-notch AV equipment. His design was well thought out. It was reviewed by our Houston AV contractor who talked with Corey directly. Our Houston contractor was very pleased with the design and felt the pricing was fair. Due to our relocation from Houston, the wiring was done (with drywall and paint) before we arrived. In general, I was a bit concerned to have this work done while I was not available locally. However, Corey treated the project like this was his home. Doing wiring in an existing home is always challenging. Corey and his crew did an excellent job. Nothing is visible. We are particularly impressed with Corey's service mindedness and his skill in training us how to use everything without getting too technical (particularly given his high level of broad technical knowledge). He is totally professional; principled, ethical, and honest; fair in his pricing for the quality of service and equipment; responsive; and a completely trusted advisor. I recommend Corey unequivocally. I am so pleased we were referred to him. The AV and home automation fields are filled mostly with mediocre contractors at best. There are so many who don't have the technical knowledge and skills needed. Corey has the whole package--technical knowledge and skill; customer focus; integrity; fair pricing; and a sincere interest in seeing his clients use and enjoy the systems. In sum, he is as good as our Houston contractor, and this is a very high compliment.

You could not ask for a better experience, or more importantly, better on-going customer care. This is the company you want! Cory and his team set up our wifi and TV/audio system a few years ago. We were incredibly happy with how detail oriented and communicative he and his team were. Everything was installed as he said it would be, and he made sure we understand how to work everything. His prices were also incredibly reasonable. Over the years, he has been available for phone calls when we've had little hiccups. Always friendly and happy to help make sure things are running smoothly. Recently, our remote started glitching. When he brought the replacement out, it still wouldn't work. He had the company to credit us for the broken remote and got us a great price on an upgraded remote. He then came back out AGAIN to get that set up. He could easily be charging us for all this extra work, but he isn't. When we offered to pay him for coming out and making sure the remote was set up correctly, he refused payment and said "I just want to make sure you have a working system." He has gone above and beyond and and again, and we could not recommend him more. We only wish all businesses were run like Bulldog Audio and Video!
