We called Mission Audio/Video here in Santa Barbara to have them take a look at our Nexus whole home entertainment system. The music and other entertainment which we enjoy throughout our home was suddenly replaced by a constant nerve -racking loud buzz. A couple of days later, a very professional, service oriented young man from Mission visited to assess our problem, ran several tests and determined that it would need further evaluation at their location. Fearing that our slightly aged equipment might either be too costly to repair, or possibly not be repairable ay all, I began conducting an internet search hoping that I might locate a reasonably priced working unit. Fortunately, I found the exact system being sold on Ebay by a reputable electronics business near Seattle (my original hometown) that was for sale for a reasonable price including a guarantee that if it didn't work, I would be refunded. In the meantime, another very professional and helpful Mission technician called me and advised that my equipment couldn't be repaired in house but had to be sent to the factory in Canada for more diagnosis and repair. Long story shortened: I purchased the Seattle system; the same young man who originally visited, returned the next week and successfully installed the replacement. It's hard to believe that it was only over a couple of weeks from start to finish that we were back to enjoying our entertainment system. We are so impressed with Mission Audio/Video and the friendly, talented and extremely helpful people who we met and spoke to during this process. It's notable that they bent over backwards to assist us in what should be considered as an unusual business service transaction and all was done at a very reasonable price.

A hometown glory for sure! This place has been around for as long as I can remember from childhood to present. After college I moved backed to SB. Short, with a penny to my name, a roommate situation was all I could afford until the necessity of not hearing common space noise, presented itself, when the self isolation began. Mission Audio Saved me. I listened to their best Bluetooth capable noise canceling headphones they had (B&o) and my music experience was about to begin without noise from the common space. The review for the headphones is a separate story as there is so much more to say. However, Mission Audio and its customer service is way better than anything I’ve ever had at Best Buy or other chain department stores. Yes it is a little pricy, but when you use the product at home and reflect on the customer service you receive including being offered a water during a previous visit to obtain a correct cable for my tv, you realize what a great deal it is. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone who values customer service and is willing to be open to having a sound experience. A Santa Barbara Bowl experience from the comfort of your space. Let’s be honest, it may come to this for a while before socializing will be restored during concerts. Mission Audio has that fix!

After years of wanting to set up a listening room, and countless meetings with different audio professionals…I finally found my match. Bill Putnam at Mission Audio and Video listened to what I wanted and helped guide me through the process of building my ideal sound system. The team at Mission, from Jeffrey Hughes to Daniel my installer couldn’t have been more professional. After many hours of listening pleasure, I am very happy to say that I made the right decision going with Mission Audio and Video. I highly recommend them to anyone that loves music!!

I had such a great experience with Riviera AV. They installed my TV and were honestly a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The pricing was fair, the work was done quickly and cleanly, and they were super professional and friendly the whole time. What really stood out was that they even came back to help me tilt the TV slightly after the install — no hassle, no attitude, just genuinely wanting to make sure everything was perfect. That kind of service is rare. Highly recommend Riviera AV to anyone needing TV mounting, sound system setup, or security equipment installation in SoCal or Central California. Great guys, great work, and I’ll definitely be using them again.

We are absolutely thrilled with the work Kevin and the Riviera AV have done on our home that we fully gut renovated over the last year and a half. We had friends who used Kevin for their remodeled home and they gave us the BEST advice to contact Kevin very early on in the process to have everything prepped and ready when the walls were open for Kevin to do his magic. Kevin installed TVs, in ceiling speakers, outdoor speakers and landscape speakers and got everything seamlessly connected. Kevin cares a lot about aesthetics and the quality of his work. I am absolutely meticulous and can tend to overanalyze. Kevin was extremely patient with me and helped guide me in areas I was struggling in and supported my decisions when they were made. All in all, we highly recommend Kevin for all of your AV needs. If you can, take the advice we were given and it's never too early in the process to contact him!

I contacted Kevin after moving into a new home in the Goleta area, looking for someone to come out and check the networking of my new house. I am an avid video gamer and having a wired internet connection to my gaming PC is a MUST. Kevin and his crew came out and verified that our home (built in the late 90's) had adequate wiring to run the internet connection through a wall outlet in the room where the PC is located. Kevin was professional and every knowledgeable about his craft and his crew (sorry, I cannot remember his name) was very efficient and professional as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for help with home networking issues.
