Home Theater Installation in Murrieta, CA

Nate and his entire team at Theater Monster are excellent at what they do. I just finished a giant remodel and not only did Nate and his team come in and present ideas and options that I had no idea were even possible, his bid was the most competitive and easy to understand. Home automation and technology in general can be a daunting subject for someone who isn’t experienced with it. Nate presented a very understandable plan from beginning to the end… He did all my prewiring, installed 15 TV’s and made my house a smart home using Control 4. I can push 1 button and the whole house goes into “Party” mode, it’s incredible. They presented great options for our home theater and really made that room something special working within a limited budget. He also integrated 5 old surveillance cameras into our new system which many people told me couldn’t be done… Nate did it in about an hour. Nate also did all of our landscape lighting and integrated the system into Control 4 along with all of our outdoor speakers. The Theater Monster Team worked seamlessly with our other subs (ADT, electricians etc) which made the renovation that much better. If I ever have an issues with the system which is very rare I know Nate is just a text away and usually fixes it within the hour remotely. I’m happy to recommend this company to all our friends and clients.

I called theater monster to come hang our television and install a surround sound system in our new home. We had two other companies come out and give us an estimate before deciding to go with theater monster. I feel confident that we made the right decision, because the installation came out great. I was really surprised that they were able to install all 5 in-ceiling speakers without leaving holes in our drywall. (Other guys said there would be holes leftover that I would be responsible for patching). Nate truly does know what he's doing when it comes to this stuff. Both him and his installers are very friendly and professional. They managed to get the whole job done the same day and they even cleaned up after themselves. I couldn't be happier with the job they did.

We are giving 2 stars only because the techs would show up on time and were always very polite when they came out. From the very beginning it was always difficult to get in contact with the office whether to schedule an appointment or ask questions or to just get an update. We would leave multiple voicemails and still would not get a phone call back. It wasn't until we got Nate's cell phone number that we were actually able to speak with someone to express our concerns. They did a fair job at installing speakers but seemed uncomfortable or unsure about the Smart lighting that we had. They actually installed a light switch that we didn't ask for and charged us for it and still have not been rectified. The projector ended up falling off of the mount which we came to find out that it was due to the wrong screws being used. When we went back to our receipt to find out how to put the mount back together we discovered that the mount that was installed was NOT the mount we paid for. When we reached out to the office regarding the projector falling and having the wrong mount they said that the mount was upgraded due to the orientation of the projector, however this was never communicated to us. They didn't even give us what we asked for! We asked for the Control 4 access to be able to control all the lights, sound, and projector as well as our house cameras but ended up with only being able to turn our projector on and off! We actually had to hire someone else to come in and do all the Control 4 items. They claim to do Control 4 but seemed very unsure about the whole thing. We would not recommend this company.

Preston was absolutely amazing. He mounted TVs, backlights and soundbars in both our living room and bedroom. All look and work great. It was incredibly convenient that he brought all the necessary mounting hardware based on the tv specifications we have him. I didn’t want the pressure of trying to figure out the right mount or coordinating shipping time with the installation service. Miles Audio & Video made it so simple. I’m kicking myself for not mounting my TVs years ago. Preston was also incredibly tidy. Despite having to cut into the wall to run the cables I could not find even a speck of drywall dust after he was done. So very happy with the service. Highly recommend.

Preston arrived right on time. He fixed our sound bar/subwoofer issue and basically tidied up our audio/video set up. He was very friendly and polite. He offered a couple of suggestions and answered our questions. I would recommend him absolutely and will be calling him again about mounting the tv on the wall. Do not hesitate to call him!
