I had to shell out for another camera system after the one Carl installed fell apart after only six years, and was always on the fritz beforehand. The work done before was a hack-job, corners were cut everywhere. We had power ran out to a shed for later use, Carl decided I didn't need that and ripped the cable out of the pipe. Placement of the cameras was terrible, the wrong type of cameras were used in the wrong areas; two cameras completely failed, night vision was basically useless, indoor cameras were installed for outdoor use which burned the image quality. The system configuration always needed fixed after a brief power loss. I'm not sure if this company is still in business, I've heard rumors of Carl's legal troubles so I doubt he is working for them nowadays. Either way, avoid this company completely. Hire a real professional.
I've known Carl literally my whole life. He is dependable, hard working, creative, a problem solver, clean and efficient, and has a very positive attitude. In his profession, he has always striven to be the best, constantly studying the latest technology and keeping up on the newest gadgets. He is a solid and important member of the Yuba Sutter community, helping with "The Stroll" and other local events for well over a decade. Highest marks across the board.
Had Carl (March 2017) install system on my home property.Now it is November! Paid over 4k for the job. Four of the eight cameras not functioning within several months. Have made calls, emails and face to face contact and still he has not resolved issue. Going to pay another installer to get my system working and then have to go to small claims court and hope to get reimbursed for the added expense.
