Like a lot of the other reviews, we had great results from working with Mike. Our home theater he installed makes even boring movies fun to watch, although I still get sick watching chick-flicks for some reason. The audio system he set up through the house throws out great music all day that's easy to access. The security system is thorough and simple to monitor. We've gone back to the Matterport internal structure images at least a dozen times to identify locations and objects. The real reason I'm submitting this review is because of a couple things that happened when things went wrong. Early Covid supply issues hit us with a couple of things Mike had ordered, setting us back and potentially hitting us with a pretty good hike in costs. Mike worked a lot more than he probably wanted to communicating with different suppliers getting replacements that ended up being a higher quality for less cost than initially expected. He came through with his promises and expectations. Another issue arose when, after house was almost completed and all of Mike's wiring was pre-installed, our flooring installer informed us the center of our house was sagging. To make a long story short, the architect forgot to design support for the center framing, and even though we caught this and informed the framer, the framer forgot to add support as well. It was a relatively easy fix, although the solution required cutting all of the AV wires running through the area of concern. Mike just raised an eyebrow (for a long time, albeit) and went to work splicing wires and cables. 150+ wires and cables, mainly the really small ones. Everything still works perfectly, so Kudos to Mike for having the expertise and knowledge to step up when things went wrong. If only someone could fix his corny jokes.
Mike and his team did an excellent job of installing all my TVs, lighting and entertainment system. They were professional, polite, on time and helpful. Every light in my home is dimmable with a touch of a finger and the sound from the speakers they installed in the wall and ceilings is clear and well, beautiful! I would recommend Magnus Opus Digital to anyone who would like a first class audio/lighting/entertainment system in their home.
I loved working with this company! They designed and installed a 9.2 home theatre in my great room that blew the socks off everyone that experienced it! 85” HD tv, Marantz components, and Klipsch speakers, man when the explosions happened on the screen the room shook!!! Truly some of the best audio/ video professionals I’ve ever worked with.
