Before anything else, I want to say that Tom King and Custom Audio Works are excellent and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for audio solutions for their home (or business). In fact, I already have to guests who have asked about the music playing throughout the entire house. If you're looking for a one-stop, reasonably priced place for your audio and video needs, then there's no need to look any further. I actually very rarely write reviews, but I believe in giving credit where credit is due, especially when someone has gone above and beyond like Tom and Custom Audio Works. I know it's tempting in this day-and-age to try the many DYI options out there, but they are rarely as easy as they claim to be and there's nothing like have an expert installation and guidance when making this kind of investment. I knew when my wife and I recently moved into a four-story townhouse that had pre-existing speakers, that I was in over my head. I also knew I wanted to have these speakers playing music as soon as possible. I made an appointment with Tom to come over for an initial consultation and he expertly diagnosed the existing complicated wiring and was happy to have me tag along. He asked me well-pointed questions about what I was looking for in my new setup given the existing wiring and within a day sent me a detailed estimate that included various pricing options based on what we had discussed. Throughout all of of our intereactions he communicated in a kind, patient, and professional manner that put me and my wife immediately at ease. When in our home, he was super respectful of our space and belongings, always asking permission before continuing into another space. I was impressed with him and the efficiency with which he worked. Tom sensed my eagerness in getting all of this setup and was able to return with all of the equipment needed a few days later (including surround sound for the speakers in our den). He not only installed everything in several hours, but gave us a patient guided tour through how to use it all and was sincere when he said we could contact him with any questions as we became familiar with the system. I can't believe how wonderful it is to have music throughout our whole house for us and entertaining and how reasonably priced it all was. If this sounds like a glowing review, it's because Tom and Custom Audio Works deserve it. I will definitely be calling on him in the future and will recommend him far and wide.

Tom and his crew were top notch! Tom, the owner, came to my home one evening and provided me with a detailed assessment and quote. He was fair and very honest with his assessment and did not try to get me to spend any unnecessary money. The install was timely and efficient and turned out better than my wife and I had hoped. We had a ring door bell and security light installed, two TVs hung, and an install of a large TV above our fire place. I highly recommend Custom Audio Works.

I had a great experience with Custom Audio Works. I need them to help unmount my TV. Tom was open to working with me in scheduling my appointment for when he would be in the area to help with costs for such a small task. Tom was in and out in under 15! In addition, he also instructed me on how to mount the TV at my next place. The team was very punctual, cordial, and respectful at all times. I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of help mounting or unmounting a TV.
