Home Theater Installation in Portland, OR

Sean and Drew helped me install my new LG G5 OLED in my media room and then hang my other LG OLEDs in my bedroom and my family room. They helped ensure all of my equipment was successfully connected and calibrated - particularly in the media room - where the image and audio quality are outstanding. They helped answer all my questions to make sure I was comfortable with the operation of all the TVs and sound equipment. They communicated clearly throughout the process from start to finish. They were extremely friendly but more importantly, they were outstanding technically - they know their business. Would gladly use again and recommend to anyone!

After we were invited to an event where different speakers were displayed, my wife and I wanted to have something other than the built in TV speakers to enjoy our movies in a different way. After talking to some friends, we were recommended to work with HVL Electronics. After contacting them, they came to our home do an initial assessment, gave us their recommendations and once we agreed to them, we had to wait a few weeks for the speakers to be shipped here. Once everything was here, they came to do all the wiring and setup. We ended up having a 5.2.4 system allowing us to have a mini-home theater in our living room. We want to thank the HVL Electronics team for their hard work and taking care of all the logistics. We love our setup!

Doug is the best! I got my Sansui 6060 back up and running with the fuses he keeps in stock. Cool retro receivers, amplifiers, and speakers on display. I need to bring my old Denon in and have it gone through too. This is the only place in Portland / Vancouver you should ever bring your home audio equipment for repair. I've been going here for years, and I always look forward to seeing the cool stuff he has to offer. Go in and check out the retro Macintosh amplifier! He'll plug it in if you want to give it a go. They don't make sound like these old systems do anymore. Old school or no school when it comes to audio for me! Cool store. Keep it up! :-)

I was a music teacher in the school district near Audio Specialties. I bought around 8 pairs of speakers, 6 amplifiers and 5 CD players from them. Great service, the owner is a really nice and honest guy. Seems like a one man show He turned up my 20 yr old technics 1200s, which were in bad shape! They look and sound brand new again!! If you're looking for vintage equipment as well, he's got some classic receiver's, take decks, amps, and speakers in there.
