Customer Reviews
I highly recommend ASC MediaCom for TV mounting and network wiring. I contacted Christopher directly after noticing a major Wi-Fi issue once my daughter got a PC. He ran a CAT6 Ethernet line from the router to her room, which immediately fixed the problem. He also corrected a previous TV installation that was unlevel, poorly placed, and had exposed wires. Christopher adjusted the TV to the proper viewing height, concealed all wiring, and ran power so no cords were visible. The final setup looks clean and professional. Friendly, knowledgeable, and focused on quality work. Thank you!
Amazing customer service and amazing work. Mr. Chinn definitely knows what he is doing and I highly recommend him to mount a tv. He made sure all the wires were hidden in the wall for me and did everything I asked to be done. He even hauled off our old broken down tv with no extra charge. Came back a few days later for a smaller job we needed with having a cord installed for the internet. If I could give him 10 stars I would.
ASC's website promises professional, precise solutions. My experience was a rushed (even though it was 6 hours), incomplete, and technically flawed disaster full of cosmetic & physical failures: Outlets were installed crooked, uneven, and not spaced correctly to match the other outlets. Drywall required repairs were not even attempted. The work was left unfinished with holes in the walls because it was also 10:30pm when the work was "wrapping up". Media Box was mounted crooked overlapping the TV bracket. The Ring Camera was installed to close to the wall which didn't allow it to calibrate making it useless when it reboots from a power outage. We brought this up that evening with no solution provided except to get a longer cord. Our fireplace was disassembled for access and left a piece out for me to fix. He also didn't inform us that the fireplace wasn't reassembled correctly. He also removed a wall anchored cabinet through sheer force and didn't tell anyone that there was drywall damage. The entire project goal was to run a CAT 6 line to the media box for the router and have the kids switch placed inside said box too. This was not done. Instead, the technician created a network bottleneck. He down-stepped the line to an obsolete CAT 5 cable (not CAT 5e), capping speeds at 100MB—precisely what I hired him to avoid.I had to personally run a speed test to prove this error to him to which no solution was provided. The only "fix" was to undo the work and move the router back, completely defeating the project's purpose. The job wasn't "finished" until 10:30 PM, which is unacceptable in a home with infants and a regular working schedule. Despite the technician being personally respectful (which makes the poor work baffling), the result was a rushed, end-of-day job that created more problems than it solved. Wrap all of this up with us asking for a partial refund. He stated that he had a 10-day workmanship guarantee that he communicates to all customers and that he could come out to fix the bad work. This "10-day workmanship guarantee" was NOT communicated to us and we declined for him to come back to the property. The issue we have is the poor quality work, why would we want to have the same work by the same person performed again? There is no 10 day policy located on his website, estimate, or receipt. There is no service contract provided to ensure accountability for services rendered. I am now paying another professional to fix ASC's mess. The precision advertised on their website is pure fantasy.
