I had two Samsung frame TVs installed by Fort Collins audio video. I cannot have been any happier with the work they did. They showed up on time, the price was extremely fair and the service was excellent. One of the TVs was a real challenge because it was mounted above a fireplace on a stone wall and the frame TV is extremely difficult to mount. Tony really knows what he’s doing and a pleasure to work with. I would gladly recommend him to anyone I know that needs services.

I am so pleased that Northern Colorado has a video-audio service such as that provided by Tony and his colleagues. We moved into a house with hardwired speakers galore but no way to drive them. Tony installed a new whole house Juke amplifier system, wired the TV to existing multiple ceiling and wall speakers. He also installed a SimplySafe security system. All of his work was very thoughtfully done and at a reasonable price as well. Highly recommended!

In a world where most people don't do what they are paid to do, Fort Collins Audio video surpasses what is expected, at a reasonable price. Highly recommended. We recently moved into a new house that was already wired for sound and needed someone to walk us through the setup and make some needed updates. At first I was dismayed at not receiving a call back from the original installer - that delay landed me in the hands of Jeff at Rocky Mountain install and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Jeff was timely, professional, and extremely knowledgeable in his work. Our project provided some challenges and Jeff not only tackled them with ease he upgraded our capabilities and walked us through its use making it straight forward and simple. I called Jeff with Rocky Mountain Install when I started the process of finishing my basement. He came over for a free consultation and helped my determine what I needed to make my home theater dreams come true. After wiring the basement with coaxial runs to feed every room, he mounted several TVs and was able to conceal all wires and provide the high end custom look I was hoping for. I needed 3 outdoor wired Ring cameras installed. The entire process was awesome. From scheduling to install. Jeff was great to work with and was very good about keeping in touch with the scheduling and appointment. He did a fantastic job installing the cameras and was very neat and tidy in cleaning up after drilling, etc. He was very patient with ensuring the cameras were angled as I desired. I highly recommend him, very professional and efficient and at a great price.

Audio Alternative is your one stop stereo shop. I walked in and said, “I want to walk in the door and listen to music without plugging in my phone, and without loosing sound quality.” The owner had an answer, that is still holding its own 6 years and counting. Let me be clear here. This is not your grand daughters Bluetooth Speaker that fits in a purse. I have Solid State Audiophile equipment from the mid 90’s. Please excuse any paraphrasing that may be occurring here: it was 2016, after all. He said, “Deezer Elite streams Hi-Quality music… Sonos One needs to be wired directly to your router via Ethernet to stream music at hi-end…the sound quality from this Emotiva DAC is hard to believe at the price…”. 15-20$ per month, 350$~ and 375$~ respectively. He is correct. I provided my own Wemo Smart switch and Harmony Elite Universal Remote, the Samsung S7 curved. The Source Music is what he provided. You can drive a Ferrari on 85 octane Fuel. Rick provided an answer that I consider to be 93 Octane Source Music (Fuel). Deezer Sonos Emotiva To CJ PV-11 CJ MF-200 Soliloquy 6.3’s. I was able to Smart Home trigger the entire setup to power own and begin playing lossless media via Voice command only and /or proximity via Cell Loc. “Trigger Stereo On”. 30-60 seconds later it began to play. Lossless and my cellphone for song selection without Touching ANYTHING. I loved it. Deezer-Sonos-Emotiva are still delivering the clearest source material for music that I have experienced outside of Blu-Ray Radio broadcasts are 44.1 and 48 kHz Deezer elite is 15.99 or 19.99 per month providing 10X to 20X times the media in a vast selection of songs aka 1000-1100 KHz songs. I love this store, selection, owner knowledge and environment in and out the door. I think of The owner as a Business Professional Gandalf the Grey with a Haircut and Cat instead of hobbits and a staff. Thank you for reading this rewrite.

I was first introduced to Rick and his business, The Audio Alternative, in 1984, so we go back 40 years. I have moved a few times over those 40 years and each time Rick has helped me design hi-fi systems that were absolutely the best available for the money and for my budget. His expertise is unmatched, and his recommendations have proven sound over 40 years. I am still using the original LP 12 turntable I bought from Rick 40 years ago. It’s been upgraded a few times as technology has improved but it is still the center piece of my excellent sounding hi fi system.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I called Rick to learn more about a vintage sound system, see how much they were going for, and to see if they would service something like this and Rick lost his mind on me. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. Their shop is the closest one to my house and intended to use them for all of my audio needs but I’d rather drive two hours to Denver than deal with them again. I never leave reviews so that goes to show just how bad the interaction was.

We recently had Harmonic Series install Lutron shades across our first floor and new kitchen remodel. We love the new automatic shades both function and look! The HS team was on time and the install went like clockwork. No issues!

Trevor and his team nailed it. The attention to detail is bar none. If things weren't just right to their eyes, they'd adjust, redo as needed. Also, the installation team was charming and respectful. Hats off.

I recently had the opportunity to meet and work with Danny, the owner of Xtreme Theatre and Sound. I was in need of a home CD player and he informed me that very few companies were making them anymore, and that I would have a hard time locating one. I ask if he knew of any place where I might find one in Fort Collins or the surrounding area. To my surprise he said he had just installed several whole house sound systems for a couple clients and he had two CD players that he was going to recycle. He gave them to me at no charge. I was surprised when he invited me to his home to pick up the CD players. He went through each player checked them out to make sure they worked properly and gave them to me. I found Danny to be a very knowledgeable about his craft, and more importantly very honest and friendly to me and I am sure to all his clients. I would recommend Danny and Extreme Theatre and Sound to anyone or business looking for his service and expertise.

We have been extremely happy with Xtreme Audio and Visual. We worked with Danny on a new construction project in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The project included installation of a music system, several TVs and a full Lutron RadioRA2 home control system. This project was the first one that our contractor and many subcontractors had worked on with these systems and Danny effectively coordinated all sub-contractors, including electrical, HVAC and lighting to ensure proper installation. This was not an easy task, as our electrical contractor was not open to the idea and took a lot of hands on oversight. The final product has fully met our expectations. We love the lighting and temperature control provided by the Lutron system. Danny has been superb on follow-up for any of the small issues we have faced. We would highly recommend using Xtreme Audio and Danny for any A/V or Lutron project.
